One of Pinkerton’s standout products is the Pinkerton Crime Index – a trusted source for crime forecasting and analysis. This product can help companies make decisions on where to buy property, making safe investments, and how best to protect their employees.

A long and ongoing project was to redesign the Products portion of the website to reflect the nature of the product as a major pillar of business. I worked closely with the marketing web developer, campaign manager, and the product and sales team to create something that captures the essence of the Pinkerton Crime Index. Below are the mobile and desktop Overview & Dashboard pages.

This project was a particular challenge for myself and the marketing team as over 50% of our page traffic came from mobile. We took that into consideration and began our wireframing process with mobile, which forced us to think differently about how we communicate this product.
